Since the lockdown the Living Waters Christian Church have changed the way they work. Instead of giving food to people who come to their regular food bank, they have been delivering it to Lewisham Residents who are isolated in their cars and vans.

Their work has been coordinated with a range of other community organisations in Lewisham, under the guidance of the Lewisham Food Network, run by Lewisham Local. Lewisham Local is the voluntary organisation chosen by Lewisham Council in partnership with the NHS to carry out this work. Living Waters Christian Church and the Honor Oak Community Centre are demonstrating their intention of integrating their contribution to the community with other organisations and working with the grain of local community support.

Since April 15th LWCC had delivered 5.42 tonnes of food and given 22,751 items of non perishable food. We thank them for this great work they have done.
