The Rah Rah Theatre Company performed Jack and the Beanstalk at Honor Oak on 13th December.  The three member cast engaged a packed hall with singing, comedy and costume changes. These included a cow, Supergirl and a pink wedding dress.

You can gauge the success of a pantomime performance by how involved the children present get in the production. In this case, partly due to the fact the hall doesn’t have a stage, the children were highly involved. In fact the cast seemed to grow in size as an increasing number of younger audience members joined in the songs and danced round the pink wedding dress. The core cast members did a good job of adapting to the fluctuating boundary between audience and play.

After the play, refreshments were provided. Everything was free of charge, including the play itself. We look forward to seeing you next year.
